CDS Logistic was founded in Baltimore, Maryland during the late 1980's. Initially the company was an over-the-road transportation specialist focusing on the commercial / "High Value" products; namely, fine art and communication, copier and other electronic equipment. The company also operated a small fleet of lift gated standard and climate controlled straight trucks servicing the local copier equipment, fine art and home delivery markets. Over the years CDS Logistics expand its local distribute business through the addition of new accounts, principally in the home delivery market. In the early 2000's the company won several significant new pieces of home delivery business, which lead to the founding of our currently Network of 31 locations servicing 33 states. During that same time we acquired a second owned facility located in Reading, Pennsylvania and began to downside our over-the-road fleet. Today CDS is a leading "Last Mile" 3PL servicing the eastern half of the United States.
