Aaron Onkst brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to CDS Logistics’ direct operations.
Aaron Onkst is an accomplished operations and logistics executive with over 25 years of leadership experience spanning manufacturing, distribution, and transportation management. As Vice President of Operations at Regent Cabinet Solutions, Aaron led enterprise-level strategy and execution across multiple facilities, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhanced performance, reduced overhead, and improved delivery precision.
Prior to Regent, Aaron spent more than a decade with Cabinetworks Group (formerly ACPI and Armstrong Cabinet Products), where he directed national logistics operations for a network delivering over two million cabinets annually. His strategic leadership reduced delivery costs, streamlined operational footprints, and improved key performance indicators through data-driven process optimization. Earlier in his career, he held management roles at Acuity Brands Lighting and United Parcel Service, where he led large-scale teams, implemented lean practices, and drove measurable efficiency gains.
A retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Aaron brings a disciplined, mission-oriented approach to organizational leadership. His military background reinforces his ability to manage complex logistics networks and build cohesive, high-performing teams.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Francis University and is recognized for his strong commitment to operational excellence, mentorship, and continuous improvement. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation across every aspect of operations.
