CDS Logistics is thrilled to announce that Alfie Saemundsson is our newest Chief Financial Officer. Since joining CDS in 2022, Alfie has played a key role in shaping our financial strategy and strengthening our foundation for scalable growth.
After several years at CDS Logistics, Alfie Saemundsson is prepared to take the company to the next level.
With nearly two decades of experience, Alfie brings deep insight and a strong commitment to operational and financial excellence that aligns perfectly with CDS’s mission of Creating Customers by Servicing Customers.
Alfie has a distinguished record of financial and investment leadership. She held senior executive positions with Capitol Investment Corp., a public investment firm where she was instrumental in deploying over $13 billion of capital and completing four IPOs. She worked closely with Lindblad Expeditions following Capitol’s investment, supporting M&A, financial planning, corporate development, capital raising, and investor relations efforts. Earlier in her career, Alfie was a Vice President at Quadrangle Group LLC, a private equity firm focused on media and telecommunications, and a Vice President in Citigroup’s investment banking division in New York. She began her career as an Analyst with British Sky Broadcasting in London.
Alfie earned her Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and her MBA from the Yale School of Management, where she was a Silver Scholar.
